And Completely Irresponsible

Vaccines are one of the greatest achievements in the history of medicine. They have prevented millions of deaths, eradicated smallpox, and dramatically reduced diseases such as polio, measles, and diphtheria. So, refusing them for you or your child is just plain crazy.

Vaccines train your immune system to fight off dangerous diseases before those diseases can do real damage. They prevent diseases that can cause hospitalization, lifelong health problems, or death. If you're comparing risks, the disease is far more dangerous than the vaccine or any potential side effects.

Scientific conclusions on vaccines are based on extensive testing, continuous monitoring, and decades of real-world data. Numerous studies involving millions of people have repeatedly found no evidence for anti-vaccine claims.

Not getting vaccinated affects everyone. The more people who are vaccinated, the less likely diseases are to spread. When large numbers of people skip vaccines, outbreaks become more common, putting vulnerable people at risk.

Nobody likes being told what to do, and everyone has the right to make their own choices. But vaccination isn't a matter of personal freedom. It's a matter of personal responsibility. Society routinely accepts measures that protect public safety, from traffic laws to clean water regulations, and vaccination serves us in the same way, by reducing preventable disease and protecting public health.

Vaccines have a long track record of working. They save lives, prevent suffering, and reduce the spread of dangerous diseases. Refusing them is just insane.
